What does it mean to have courage? The dictionary describes courage as ” The ability to do something that frightens one.
Well as we begin to delve into this new book, The Holographic Universe, it really begins to challenge our beliefs about the world and everything around us.
A soldier going into battle has the courage to face a challenge that may bring physical harm. The Spiritual warrior must have the courage to question and challenge his or her own beliefs. By challenging our own beliefs we can dissolve the lies that cause our suffering and the illusions that we think are real. Challenging our own beliefs requires courage because it means the end of our illusion of safety. When other people challenge our own beliefs we are usually quick to defend ourselves. We defend them even if they cause us to suffer. As a warrior, we learn not to defend what we believe, and then to challenge those very beliefs ourselves. In this way, we are able to sort out the truth from illusions. This is what the author of this book begins to open the door for us to think about. So I see myself as sort of this spiritual warrior that I am entering this new realm of discovery about the reality of my world, the Universe and I will have to do battle with an old framework of reality that I was taught that says the world is a certain way.
So fasten your seat belts because we are about to embark on an exciting journey throughout this book.
