What is the best thing about you? What do you love about yourself? What is your potential? Do you ever just sit and love yourself? Care for your body?
Sometimes it is easier to sit and criticize yourself, judge yourself, and measure yourself against others. Sometimes it is just easier to marginalize yourself. Heaven knows I have done it so many times. The fact is that we, you and I, have learned to do this. We have been well trained through life teachings and experiences. We have embedded this in our subconscious. We each have created the habit of being ourselves. And many times, we are not happy with who we are. THAT IS THE STARTING POINT!
So let’s get real! Own it! Then change it! Life is a journey of growth, learning, understanding, and mastery. So why stay stuck? There is no rule that says you have to stay the same way forever. In the book Breaking The Habit Of Being Yourself – How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One, the author, Dr. Joe Dispenza gives us ways to break old habits and create new ones.
This is where the questions come in. What is the best thing about you? What do you love about yourself? What is your potential? Do you ever just sit and love yourself? Care for your body? Just sit and journal on these questions. Who do you want to be in the world? It is never too late to start new habits. The important thing is to start. Don’t judge and love yourself for your new adventure.
